The studio is set at the rear of a 1-acre property, accessible via a boardwalk from the main driveway in the wet season, and accessible via a dry-season-only driveway in Summer.

Space hire includes the entire facility except for the upstairs office area which is a private space for staff only. Depending on your required use we can move furniture around to accommodate your needs.

All hires include a welcome host if required, who can assist with bringing equipment across if needed (a 4wd cart is available), and who can assist you with your setup at the start of your booking. Please see below for what is included in the space hire.

Parking is not typically available for participants at the studio itself, but there is ample parking along the road or in the side driveway at 74 Venables St (the residence) which is just a 1 minute walk across the waterway via a boardwalk and bridge. Please take extreme care in wet weather as the boardwalk may be slippery. If you are parking on the road you can walk across the lawn and down the studio driveway in dry weather (also just a 1 min walk). In wet weather please walk down the residential driveway and along the top boardwalk. In summer the host can park right up to the front door of the studio for loading etc. 

Space hire includes arrival and bump-in / setup time so please select accordingly to suit the needs of your project.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow children between the ages of 1-12 due to the waterways on site and slippery bridges / boardwalks in winter. The studio is not suitable for children or for people with mobility restrictions – apologies. Pets are not allowed due to the unfenced areas on site. All bookings require evidence of public liability insurance or a complete waiver that you will take full responsibility for any damage or injury. Large groups cannot be accommodated due to Council restrictions and limited toilet facilities (x1). A permit may be required for certain events.
